Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from hiring a traditional interior designer?

A traditional designer often presents their vision for your space. My role is different. I serve as your personal guide, providing a process and the tools for you to see and refine your own vision. The final style we uncover is not my creation; it is a true reflection of you. My goal is not to design for you, but to give you the confidence to become the curator of your own home.

Do I need to have strong design skills or a clear vision to begin?

Not at all. In fact, the journey is often most powerful for those with a ‘foggy’ but strong feeling of what they want. You do not need any design skills. You only need to be open to the process of discovery. My role is to provide the structure and the visual tools to help you translate that feeling into a clear, confident vision.

Is this service right for a single room, or can you help with larger, open-plan spaces?

The Clarity Journey is perfectly structured for a single, dedicated space, such as a living room, study, or bedroom. It is also highly effective for larger, open-plan areas that serve distinct functions (e.g., a combined living and dining space). For projects involving multiple, separate rooms, please request a personal introduction to discuss a bespoke approach.

How much of my own time will the process require?

Your main time commitment is for the three in-person meetings at your home, which total around 6-7 hours over several weeks. Outside of these collaborative sessions, the process is designed to be efficient and respectful of your time.

Am I limited to choosing items only from ‘The Collection’?

‘The Collection’ serves as our powerful starting point—a curated library of world-class, sourcable items to inspire you. However, our process is collaborative. If you have found a specific piece of furniture or art that you love, we will absolutely work to incorporate it into your design.

Are the costs of furniture, art, and materials included in your service fee?

No. The service fee is for the complete design and visualisation journey we undertake together—the consultations, in-person sessions, and the final suite of photorealistic images. The budget for the actual furniture and decor is separate and is determined entirely by you.

Why do you offer a ‘Confidence Guarantee’ where I only pay at the end?

Because my commitment is to your complete confidence and peace of mind. I believe so strongly in the clarity and value that this process provides that I am willing to undertake the creative journey with you first. It aligns our goals perfectly and transforms our relationship from a transaction into a true partnership.

Are the items shown in the final images real and available for purchase?

Yes. ‘The Collection’ is composed of real items from renowned international designers and brands. While Maison Révèle is a design service, not a procurement agent, I can provide guidance and information to help you source the key pieces from your final design.

What happens if I want to make a change after the project is ‘finished’?

Your project is never truly ‘finished’. Your Private Gallery remains open and active for 12 months after the Finale Presentation. As detailed in “The Offer” page, you are always welcome to commission an additional revision cycle or even a completely new design concept for your space during that time. Your home evolves, and our service is designed to evolve with it.

How is this different from hiring a traditional interior designer?

Traditional designers often present a single vision that reflects their signature style. Maison Révèle is different. We empower you to be the designer. My role is to be your expert guide and provide the tools to visualise and compare different, complete design concepts for your space. The final choice is always yours, made with absolute confidence and without risk.

Do I need to have strong design skills or a clear vision to begin?

Not at all. The only requirement is your own taste. Our collaborative process is specifically designed to help you discover and articulate your vision, even if it isn’t perfectly clear at the start. We guide you step-by-step to a result that feels unmistakably yours.

Is this service right for a single room, or can you help with larger, open-plan spaces?

The service is perfect for both. Our pricing applies to a single, defined space, which can be a self-contained room (like a living room or bedroom) or a larger, cohesive open-plan area that includes, for example, a kitchen and dining space.

What can I expect during the initial ‘Personal Introduction’ call?

This is a calm, complimentary, and no-obligation conversation. It’s typically about 30 minutes long. The goal is for me to listen and understand your vision and for you to ask any questions you may have. It’s an opportunity for us to see if we are the right fit for each other, without any pressure.
